La Rosa e Selvatelle
Situate sulla strada Sarzanese Valdera, vi sono numerose industrie nei settori: legno, marmo, attività estrattive, costruzini, aziende alimentari ed enologiche. Nella Località la Rosa sono sorte negli ultimi anni molte attività commerciali, quali abbigliamento, calzature, biancheria. Casanova - Si trova sulla strada che da Terricciola porta a Selvatelle. Fu un antico Castello. Castelvecchio - Era un antico Castello di guardia sulla strada per Chianni. Morrona - Ancora oggi ha la conformazione urbanistica circolare di un antico castello. Badia di Morrona Il complesso abbaziale si trova a Nord Ovest del borgo di Morrona, è composta da un complesso di edifici che svolsero le funzioni di monastero. Venne fondata da Uguccione della Gherardesca nel 1109, fu in seguito dei Frati Camaldolesi sotto i quali acquistò molta importanza. Nel 1482 la badia venne soppressa e unita alla Mensa Episcopale di Volterra. Oggi nell’antico Monastero Medievale ha sede la fattoria Gaslini, azienda vitivinicola.All’interno della “Badia di Morrona” si trova la Pieve di Santa Maria, chiesa romanica del 1152. Pieve a Pitti Fu una piccola rocca con borgo. Il borgo rurale nel 1794 fu proprietà dei Pitti ed in seguito subì diversi passaggi. Risale ai secoli XII e XIII e comprende la villa, la cappella, le stalle e i magazzini. Soiana Il nome sembra derivare da un comandante romano, “Scianus”, che vi si accampò in epoca repubblicana. Fu un grande castello ed ancor oggi l’abside della chiesa è ricavata nell’antico mastio.Nel paese c’erano ben 5 chiese romaniche di cui oggi la più antica rimasta è quella di San Michele. La Chiesa della Natività o Chiesa della Compagnia ha antiche origini purtroppo non documentabili.
