CEDRI
Etruscan village. The castle was sold to the Bishops of Volterra in 1160. The castle, due to the bitter disputes between the Guelphs and Ghibellines and the fighting between Volterra and Pisa in 1360, fell into the Florentines hands. The Castle, in the seventeenth century, was owned by a noble Florentine family. The ancient Farm, now Villa Ferretti, of the nineteenth century with the Church of San Giorgio is of true interest.
